Postoperativna njega i moguće komplikacije operacije katarakte
Većina pacijenata nema informacije o tome šta može a šta ne bi trebalo da se radi nakon operacije katarakte, osim da treba da idu na kontrole. Ali, koliko često treba da posjete oftalmologa i koji znaci ukazuju na medicinsku hitnost?
Prije napuštanja bolnice nakon operacije, ljekar upućuje pacijenta na sljedeći kontrolni pregled.
Pacijent dobija kapi za oči za naredne četiri nedjelje koje će pomoći u liječenju i spriječavanju infekcija. Kontrole se obično zakazuju sljedećeg dana nakon operacije, sljedeća je nedjelju dana poslije operacije i posljednja, nakon mjesec dana. Tokom ovih posjeta, oftalmolog vrši pregled očiju i obavještava pacijenta o prestanku korišćenja kapi za oči. Pacijent će možda morati da nosi nove naočale, ali potrebno je sačekati da prođe tri do četiri nedjelje kako bi se vid stabilizovao.
Kada je indikovana medicinska hitnost?
Smatra se da je operacija katarakte bezbjedna i efikasna. Kao i kod svakog hirurškog zahvata, postoje takođe određeni rizici vezani za ovu procedure.
Rijetko se postoperativno mogu javiti sljedeće komplikacije:
- Infekcija
- Upala
- Porast očnog pritiska
- Oticanje rožnjače
- Pomjeranje (dislokacija) sočiva
- Posteriorna kapsularna opacifikacija
- Ablacija (odvajanje) mrežnjače
Iako su komplikacije veoma rijetke, razgovor o intervenciji sa kvalifikovanim oftalmologom i praćenje uputstava ljekara može pomoći u smanjenju rizika. U većini slučajeva pacijenti prijavljuju pozitivne rezultate, uključujući poboljšan vid. Međutim, jedan dio ljudi želi da ignoriše simptome kao što su zamagljen vid, bol u oku, crvenilo oka, blago treperenje, pod pretpostavkom da se ovi simptomi obično javljaju poslije operacije, što inače nije slučaj.
Važno je da se pacijent odmah obrati oftalmologu kako bi se spriječio trajni gubitak vida.
