“ON JUNE 18, 2024, THIS LETTER IS WRITTEN BY RAISA’S GRANDFATHER SULJO AT THE AGE OF 81.
DEAR RESPECTED AND ESTEEMED DOCTORS, DOCTRESSES, AND OTHER MEDICAL STAFF. FIRST OF ALL, I WANT TO GREET YOU WARMLY AND SINCERELY AND TO TELL YOU THE REASON AND PURPOSE OF THIS LETTER. IT IS ABOUT GRANDPA’S AND GRANDMA’S GRANDDAUGHTER RAISA, WHO WAS UNDER YOUR CARE FOR EYE TREATMENT AND SURGERY. I CAN HONESTLY SAY, AS RAISA AND HER MOTHER EMIJA TOLD ME, THAT YOU WELCOMED THEM SO KINDLY FROM THE FIRST DAY. THEY SPOKE HIGHLY OF YOU, YOUR WORK, ATTITUDE, AND HUMANITY. YOU ARE TRULY WONDERFUL PEOPLE, DOCTORS, AND SPECIALISTS. TO BE HONEST, WHEN RAISA CAME FOR HER FOLLOW-UP CHECK-UP AND YOU TOLD HER THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE, WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, AND SHE REPORTED THIS TO US, BOTH GRANDMA AND I WERE OVERJOYED. AS I WRITE THIS, I AM SO OVERWHELMED WITH JOY THAT I MUST SHED A FEW TEARS NOW THAT EVERYTHING HAS ENDED WELL FOR OUR RAISA. TOMORROW, GOD WILLING, I WILL CELEBRATE, REJOICE, AND SING OUT LOUD FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR. WHEN I SING, GRANDMA AND RAISA LOVE TO LISTEN. ONCE AGAIN, I WANT TO SAY THAT WE ARE ALL HAPPY AND SATISFIED, GRANDPA AND GRANDMA, MOM AND DAD, AND ESPECIALLY RAISA. AT THE END OF THIS LETTER, I WANT TO THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND WISH YOU ALL THE BEST IN LIFE, GOOD HEALTH, MANY YEARS, AND THAT FORTUNE FOLLOWS YOU IN YOUR LIFE AND WORK.
