2. What eye conditions can laser correction treat?

Laser eye surgery is used to treat:

3. Does laser eye surgery hurt?

4. How long does the procedure take?

• PRK: removes the outer layer of the cornea entirely before reshaping it. Recovery takes a few days longer, but it's a better option for some patients.

8. Is laser eye surgery permanent?
