Lasersko skidanje dioptrije je potpuno bezbolan postupak koji vas za manje od 4 minute po oku rješava potrebe za nošenjem naočala i kontaktnih sočiva.
U svijetu se radi više od 30 godina i podvrgnulo mu se oko 50 miliona ljudi.
Ovaj postupak mogu raditi osobe koje su kratkovidne, dalekovidne ili imaju astigmatizam, a ne žele da nose optčika pomagala.
Zahvat se radi u lokalnoj anesteziji kapima tako što se na površini oka napravi poklopac ili lapn tanak oko 100 mikrona koji se podigne, zatim hladni snop laserskih zraka površinski oblikuje rožnjaču kako bi se skinula dioptrija te se poklopac vraća na mjesto.
Ukoliko se bojite da ćete za vrijeme zahvata trepnuti ili pomjeriti oko ne brinite jer stavimo na kapke nježni držač koji onemogućava da trepnete za vrijeme zahvata, a sam laser ima ugrađen sistem za praćenje zjenice oka.
Postoperativni period oporavka traje svega nekoliko dana, tj. pacijent se već nakon 2 dana može vratiti svojim svakodnevnim akivnostima uz redovne kontrole i kapanja kapi za oči koje mu mi damo nakon operacije. Prvih nekoliko dana se kapaju antibiotske kapi u oči u kombinaciji sa vještačkim suzama, a kasnije samo vještačke suze po potrebi.
